This policy explains what information is collected when you use OffGridVolts (offgridvolts.com) and how it's used.
Calculator inputs
The calculators run entirely in your web browser. The numbers you type are not sent to our servers and are not stored.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show adverts, which pays for the site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown on the site.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated visitor statistics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to see which calculators are used. These do not identify you personally.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and similar laws you have rights over your personal data, including access and deletion. Because we don't collect calculator inputs or run accounts, we normally hold no personal data about you. For data held by Google or Cloudflare, use the links above.
